When I first heard about wet bags I knew I wanted a few, but not for cloth diapers like most mamas use them for. I wanted a swim bag for my families wet swimsuits and a cute leak proof bag to keep L's change of clothes in incase of those horrible shopping mall accidents, anything had to be cuter than a Ziploc bag. So I searched and searched for the perfect wet bag, sadly all the wet bags that I found just weren't what I was looking for, they all had a drawstring or velcro closure, which just didn't seem practical to me. How were they supposed to keep wetness in? I thought my search was in vain until I came across the MiniMe BabyGear Wet Happened Wet Bag made by a wonderfully talented SAHM. Owner Jamie is a pleasure to deal with and more than willing to work with Canadian buyers. The Wet Happened Wet Bag has a zipper closure and comes in 17 different fabric choices and 2 sizes to choose from so there should be no problem finding one or even a few to meet your needs. I bought 2 medium for swim bags and 2 small(small now discontinued) for diaper accidents. L and I recently went swimming at the local pool. I was excited to use my Wet Bag for the first time and am extremely glad I made the purchase. After our swim I put our swimsuits into the wet bag and placed it in our pool bag and walked home. When we arrived home I left the bag in the bottom of L's stroller b/c being a mom you don't always have time to get to things when you should. I fed L, put him down for a nap, cleaned house, made supper etc. Needless to say I didn't get to our pool bag till hours later. After unpacking the bag I was pleased to find that the wet bag had not leaked at all. Everything was dry as a bone even my wallet, which I had of course forgotten, was in the pool bag. Even after machine washing the bag the next day it still stood strong and did not fall apart, it looked just as it did the day it arrived. Fortunately I haven't had to test smaller one reserved for public diaper accidents but I am sure if it held up to soaking wet swim suits and a washing machine a little poop is no match for the Wet Happened Wet Bag. I could see many more uses for these handy little bags. Besides cloth diapers, diaper accidents and swim suits these bags would be great for packing make up, shampoos, lotions and such when going away on trips to protect your other belongings from possible leaks or spills. The possibilities are endless. You can purchase the Wet Happened Wet Bag from its US source at MiniMe BabyGear.
