The Safe Sippy is a stainless steel sippie cup invented by a dad who like most parents was concerned about the harmful toxins from the standard sippie cups on the market. Made of a stainless steel body and plastic for the handles, spout and grip that are Bisphenol A, phthalates and DEHA free, this cup is a great alternative for concerned parents. The spout is straw shaped which is better for developing mouths than the usual wide mouth spout that experts have found to cause physical and speech development problems. It did take The Babe a bit to get the hang of the spout since it required a bit more sucking effort than his usual cups. At first he plain out refused it but I pressed on and kept offering it to him, I even drank out of it myself to show him it was ok. Now he likes it and there is no fuss involved. Even better news for busy moms, this cup is completely dishwasher safe and that's a huge plus around here!

Great idea! My wife and I have a 10 month old little girl who is just starting to use sippy cups. I think I may get one of these. Do you know if they ship to the US. Cool blog you have here!
