Yay for Spring!!

With the coming of the new season comes another great line up of new Ju-Ju-Be items. You've all seen our other review on how fabulous our JJB BeTween is and now they have some out with 2 great new patterns Cherry Lemonade and my absolute new favorite Zany Zinnias. Not only have they come out with some new patterns but new products too!! There is the BeMajor which is the new grown up version of the BeMine (which I do own and love but now I'm thinking I really need a BeMajor!), BeRich (smaller version wallet), CheckaBe (for your checkbook), BeThrifty (even smaller version wallet) and the BusinessBe (great for business cards or just organizing your everyday cards). But not only that they are introducing a long awaited JJB lunch bag, the BeLicious and an even bigger mess shuttle for cloth diapering mamas called the Space Station!!! Something tells me there are going to be a lot of broke Pink Ladies this spring. Here's a sneak peak at the new line below, hopefully the main site will be updated in the next 24 hours with all the product specs and such. (Or you can search the Pink Room to get all the little details before it goes up on the main site.) Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to plan a big bank heist. ;)

Have a good LAF ;)

Recently we had the opportunity to try out to different products by LAF. One was a big hit with us and one was a miss.

First up is the LAF Attachables T-shirt, this shirt is unique because of it's removable sleeves which keeps your child prepared for both hot and cold weather. Basically it's a regular short sleeve t-shirt that has long sleeves that velcro on and off with ease. While this does sound like a clever idea we just weren't crazy about the product. First off we are not really loving the logos on the shirt, it may sound a bit snobby but my children dress better than both the daddy and I and what they wear and how it looks is very important to us. I just found the logo to be a bit "blah" but again this may just be me. I think it would be nicer if they had a selection of t-shirt designs to choose from. We received a size 3 for L which should have been a little big considering he just turned 2, we found the shirt to be comparable to a size 2 but the removable sleeves seemed to be more of a size 12 months as they were a good one or two inches too short. I think that if the shirt and sleeves had been more true to size and the shirt had more patterns to choose from I might have had a different opinion but I still am not sure about this product.
*Reviews are written in advance and it seems now that we have checked out the site once again that they now have some very cute rocker type tees and onesies, much cuter than the tee we received*

The other product we received was the LAF Roll-n-Go Diaper Caddy which we loved. This handy product consists of a long piece of fabric with a series of pockets and compartments that can turn any old bag you have into a diaper bag. The side with the pockets is some sort of canvas or other comparable stiff fabric and the other side is a gorgeous Asian brocade fabric, when not in use the organizer rolls up nicely to show the gorgeous brocade and ties up with the attached ribbon. Literally any bag you have lying around whether it's an old backpack, purse or tote can now become a outstanding diaper bag. Just insert the Roll-n-Go Diaper Caddy and fill it with all your necessities and you are good to go, instant diaper bag. The Roll-n-Go is available in two sizes and colors; the large summer roll and the extra large midnight roll. This organizer would even still be useful long after your little one is out of diapers. Use it in your purse, your pool bag, your work bag, your school bag or to organize your carry-on bag on a long trip. The uses are endless.
The Laf Attachables T-shirt retails for $24US and the Laf Roll-n-Go Diaper Caddy retails for $60US both can be purchased at their US based online store, they ship to both US and Canada. Right now they are having a big sale!! The Attachables T-shirt is now $14US and the Roll-n-Go Diaper Caddy is now $40US!!

Born Free is going stainless

Born Free now is jumping on the stainless steel bandwagon as has come out with a stainless steel water bottle. Their water bottle has a sports top that opens with a lift of the lid and push of a button, it comes in 2 different sizes, 9 oz and 12 oz. Because of the lid/spout features I would say this cup would be more for an older age group as L cannot open the lid and has a very hard time pushing the button. If you're little one gets frustrated easily these features are something that might cause your little one stress. The lid though is removable and taking it off might be easier if your child is having some trouble. Also a cover of some sort might be a good investment as these are single walled and tend to get quite cold once a cold liquid is added, it is recommended that you not put hot liquids in it. The company doesn't carry their own covers but most are pretty universal so you shouldn't have a problem finding one to work with your cup. Though Born Free never had a BPA issue to begin with it's nice that they have chosen to go the stainless steel route as I myself feel a little leery of the plastic options as I'm sure most parents are. These cups are just another good alternative to the plastic sippie cup route, I would recommend them for ages 3 and up due to the difficulty that younger ones might have with the lid features. But of course you know you're child best so you be the judge if you think they would be skilled enough to master the lid features earlier. The company has also came out with stainless steel food jars which we have not tried but would love to see if they are as fab as the cups.
Born Free Stainless Steel cups retail for $14.99US for the 9oz, $15.99US for the 12 oz and can be purchased from their online store (shipping to both US or Canada) or see there store locator for a store near you.

When words alone just won't do

Cerebral Itch is the product of two people with a wickedly funny sense of humor who just happen to be husband and wife, Kathleen and Paul Chamberlain. After viewing their site and their products you just know these too must have an amazingly fun home life. I love my new Cerebral Itch tee, it's the greatest. It sums up my life so perfectly, http://tshirts.cerebralitch.com/shirts/girls/happy_homemaker I mean don't get me wrong, I love being a mom and staying home with my kids but some days that is just how I feel and I love having a tee to wear on those days so everyone knows. Cerebral Itch's tee's are very form fitting and I think they run a tad bit small but this does not affect the quality at all. I got a large hoping it would be a bit loose but it's still quite tight because of this fact I have only hung the shirt to dry. They do claim to be preshrunk and washer and dryer friendly but I just didn't want to take the chance of shrinking my fab new tee. Cerebral Itch has quite a few funny and cute t shirts to choose from for both men and woman and range in sizes from small to extra large. Aside from their shirts we are also loving their hilarious greeting cards. They seem to have a card for almost every occasion and even some that you didn't know were occasions and we can honestly say they are all very witty and amusing. We are so loving the "It's all fun and games till someone gets knocked up" and "Nice going stud" to announce your pregnancy to an unsuspecting daddy. The daddy is so getting one of these the next time I get pregnant.
Cerebral Itch tees retail for $19.99 US and the greeting cards retail at $3.50 US. Both can be purchased at their US based online store, they ship to both US and Canada or check out their retail locator for a store near you.
